“Since arriving at Forest we have worked hard to build a special bond between the players, the fans and everyone at the club. With each other’s help we achieved our targets last season.”
Nuno took over from Steve Cooper in December 2023 and has gradually improved the Foresters, battling a four-point deduction but ultimately escaping relegation in the 2023-24 season, finishing 17th on matchday.
Last season was a memorable highlight as they stayed in the top 4 for a long time until they had a late flat, winning just 2 of their last 7 games. However, finishing 7th also provided a consolation spot in the Europa Conference League play-offs before entering the league phase.
Other results: Forest reached the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1991 , unfortunately losing to Man City 0-2.
