PSV returned to win the country’s top league title for the first time in the last 6 years after beating Sparta Rotterdam 4-2 at home.

PSV, under the control of Peter Bosz, has been on top since the beginning of the season, starting with 17 straight wins before losing their first match in March to NEC Nijmegen 1 -3 UFABET 

In the most recent match, PSV did not miss the opportunity to celebrate the championship by beating Sparta Rotterdam 4-2, increasing their score to 87 points and leaving Feyenoord 12 points behind. The giants from Eindhoven won the Dutch league title for the first time in six years, or since the last championship in the 2017/18 season under Philipp Cocu, and became the club’s 25th league champion. Second only to Ajax who have won 36 times.

Ajax’s 93 points was the most in the history of the Netherlands’ top flight in the 1971/72 season.
